It is a polyurethane/ground rubber mixture that will dampen sound much like dynamat or any other sort of material. I used it on my Z - just paint it on with a roller or brush. Get a couple of cans and do the entire undercarriage if you have extra time. Just be sure to remove the OEM rubberized undercoating first - you want this material to go directly onto the OEM primer underneath the rubber coating. You could also do this on the interior of the car if you want -just give it a few days to fully cure before you put anything back in.
